| | So today is monday morning and i have no school for two more days!! I have to start homework but basically all i have to do is read. It sounds like the weekend was pretty good except for the competition which i knew would blow. Well friday i was in the car from 7:26AM-7:47PM so that was a long ass day. I got up and we left for the funeral at 11:00 in the morning and we were at the funeral home for 5 hrs. It was hard looking at my grandpa in the casket because he lost all his hair from the cancer, he was unaturally skinny because he kind of starved to death, and he was in his army uniform. Well at this one point it was just me and my dad talking in front of the casket and we saw a box that inside the top of the casket where you could put things in. Well i wanted to give something of value so i took off my livestrong bracelet and put it in the box. It made my dad cry and he says its something he'll remember for the rest of his life. Its cool to know that my grandpa will be buried with a piece of me because as you may have known i almost never take my livestrong bracelet off. I also think each livestrong bracelet that i have had holds a different set of memories with it. When one breaks you start collecting new memories with the new bracelet you're wearing. IDK but thats just the way i have always thought of it. Well that was a hard day but my dad got to see people that he hasnt seen in like 10 years which was really cool. I'm still worried about my grandma because now shes living by herself but i think she'll be okay. Well we drove back yesterday which again took forever. We got in the car at 8:00 and got back to the house at 7:00. I did three mile run as soon as i got out of the car and that was pretty hard because i hadnt moved my legs in like 7 hours. Oh well all in all the weekend was good and i'm really excited about this week because we only have two days of school and in those two days all of the teachers will be like "fuck it, i cant start any new lessons". So basically party week. |
